A beautiful evening of sisterhood, celebration, and appreciation with the amazing women of ACWGC. 🌸

As many of us were unable to gather on Mother’s Day, we came together to celebrate both Mother’s Day and Eid, sharing joy, laughter, and meaningful connections. We were honored to recognize several outstanding mothers with certificates of appreciation for their dedication, resilience, and the countless contributions they make to their families and communities.

A special thank you to our distinguished guests for joining us and supporting our community. We would also like to sincerely thank Canadian Zalmi Society for their collaboration and support in making this program a success. Your presence made the evening even more memorable.

We were honoured to come together with the Calgary Single Moms Community and several other community organizations to celebrate a beautiful Mother’s Day event in support of mothers in our community. 💐

ACWGC was proud to be part of this meaningful collaboration, with our Executive Director, Rubina Hamdar, representing our organization at the celebration.

We are proud to share that our Executive Director, Robina Hamdard , attended the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York this March.

This important global platform created space to highlight the realities, challenges, and resilience of Afghan women. Key discussions focused on advancing the rights, dignity, and opportunities for Afghan women, while ensuring their voices are heard in international decision-making spaces.
Robina articipation reflects our ongoing commitment to advocating for Afghan women, amplifying their stories, and contributing to meaningful global conversations that drive change.

Together, we continue to stand for equality, empowerment, and a stronger future for all women.
