What enrages us most is not just the discrimination itself, but the shameless normalization of it. A system that treats one nation as sacred and untouchable while holding others to strict accountability is a system that has abandoned justice. No nation deserves a special exemption from law, morality, or responsibility. Such double standards are an insult to every principle of equality and a dangerous message that power matters more than truth or justice.

BREAKING: Abdul El-Sayed just won Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary.

AIPAC and allied groups poured $30M+ into stopping him. He won anyway. This is what happens when people-powered movements refuse to be bought.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed has won Michigan’s Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate, defeating U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens in a closely watched race that drew tens of millions of dollars in outside spending. El-Sayed will now face Republican nominee Mike Rogers in the November general election, a contest expected to rank among the nation’s most competitive and expensive Senate races.

The Democratic primary became one of the costliest in Michigan history, with outside groups spending more than $50 million. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and affiliated organizations spent more than $30 million backing Stevens and opposing El-Sayed, while other outside groups added millions more to the race.
