You helped us score a hole-in-one! ⛳️

Because of your generous donations through the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program, we exceeded our goal by almost $3,000! These funds will directly support our Children's Grief Centre and Osten-Victor Living with Advanced Illness Centre, providing vital programs and care for children facing loss and grief.

Supporting grieving students starts with understanding. 💙

As educators settle into a new school year, The Children's Grief Centre is excited to announce that a new and improved version of our Grief in My Backpack online resource is coming soon!

Designed specifically for school communities, the platform will have more school-focused content, practical tools, and expanded resources to help staff support students experiencing grief and loss.

✨ Updates will include:
• A new Cultural Humility module to help foster compassionate classrooms
• Student voices, videos, and artwork sharing what they needed from educators during a diagnosis or after a death
• Guidance on helpful and unhelpful responses at school
• A searchable resource library with tools on topics such as school refusal, separation anxiety, accommodations, concentration challenges, sensory supports, and more.

Last week, we came together to celebrate 30 years of compassionate care at Rosedale Hospice.

Since opening our doors in 1996, Rosedale Hospice has had the privilege of caring for nearly 2,700 individuals through their end-of-life journey while also supporting countless family members and loved ones.

Our anniversary celebration was an opportunity to reflect on Rosedale's story over the past three decades. To everyone who joined us, shared memories, and celebrated this milestone with us, thank you. To those who were there in spirit, we are so grateful for your support!
