Start your week off right this fall! Upcoming class alert:

We're gearing up for another 8-class series of Walk 15 workouts at Tuxedo Park Community Association in September! Join Master Instructor Nancy Ehle in this calorie-torching, muscle toning, heart-healthy class format from the creators of Walk at Home.

These workouts are designed specifically so that anyone can walk in off the street, join in and feel successful, which was the whole idea behind the program when introduced by Leslie Sansone back in the 80's. No dancing or complicated choreography... if you can WALK, you can do this! With over 14 years of experience, Nancy will coach you throughout the class and ensure that you not only figure out the moves but have FUN doing it! You'll also meet others whose goals may be similar to yours - the camaraderie and community aspect are a huge part of these classes!

Registration is now open! Classes run Mondays from 9:00-10:00 a.m. from Sept. 7 - Nov. 2 (no class on Sept 14). Cost: $85, deadline to register is Sept. 3.

⚡ Central Calgary Transmission Line Update

ENMAX has proposed 8 possible routes for the Central Calgary Transmission Line.

The Winston Heights-Mountview Community Association supports Option 8 as the only viable route because it buries the transmission line rather than placing overhead towers through established neighbourhoods.

This position is also supported by:
✅ The City of Calgary Real Estate & Development Services
✅ City Parks & Open Spaces
✅ Councillor DJ Kelly
✅ Alpha Built (developer in Midfield Heights)

📢 Your feedback matters!

The ENMAX online survey is open until July 15.

🖥️ Complete the survey at https://www.enmax.com/projects/central-calgary-transmission-line-replacement-project
📞 403-514-1471
📧 [email protected]

This fall, ENMAX will review public feedback before submitting its application to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC). Depending on the final route selection, WHMCA will determine whether to participate as an official intervenor.
