🏈 A GREAT SEASON STARTS WITH A GREAT TEAM!

As we wrap up our first fall season at UA Flag Calgary, we want to recognize the quality of officiating we had on the field.

A big thank you to Arthur Garand and his officials for providing professional support throughout the season. Knowing the rules, communicating with coaches, and helping everyone better understand the game made a real difference in the experience for our players.

The positive feedback we heard from parents and coaches, both on and off the field, speaks for itself. Having officials who care about the game and the experience of our athletes was an important part of what made this season a success.

Thank you, Arthur and the entire officiating crew, for being part of our first UA Flag Calgary season. We appreciate you and look forward to building on what we started this fall!

🏈 More than a game. A community built around the love of football.

Play together. Win together. 🏈🔥

Some of my favourite moments this season haven’t been the touchdowns or the big plays.

They’ve been moments like this.

Three teammates celebrating together after a great play. High fives, smiles, jumping around, and knowing they all played a part in making something happen.

That’s what I love about flag football.

You need your teammates. You need the player making the throw, the athlete running the route, the defender making the stop, and the teammate on the sideline cheering everyone on.

Across our UA Flag Calgary teams this season, I’ve watched kids from Roots, Rise, UA Girls and UA Next grow in confidence, learn to compete and become better teammates.

The wins are great.

The growth is better.

But seeing these kids build friendships, celebrate each other and make memories together is what I’ll remember most.

Play together. Win together. 🏈❤️

The Next Level is here. 🏈🔥

One of the coolest parts of this season for me has been watching our UA Next players compete.

These games are fast. They’re competitive. The athletes are making plays, reading the field, adjusting on the fly and pushing each other every week.

And then you see a play like this.

The ball goes up, he stretches out with one hand, gets his fingertips on it and somehow comes down with the catch. Those are the moments you remember.

That’s what we wanted UA Next to be.

A place where athletes who love football get to compete at a high level, learn the intricate details of the game and push themselves to become better players.

The NEXT Level is here. And these athletes are showing us they belong.

WATCH HER PLAY. WATCH HER LEAD. WATCH HER ROAR. 💪🔥

She was never made to play small.

Watch her compete.
Watch her grow stronger.
Watch her shake the field and make some noise.

This is girl power. This is confidence. This is courage in motion. Give girls the chance to step onto the field, and watch them discover just how powerful, fearless, and unstoppable they truly are. 🏈

Storm energy. ⚡
Fearless heart.
Unbreakable mindset.

Strong women start as strong girls—and strong girls are changing the game. 💙

WATCH HER PLAY. WATCH HER LEAD. WATCH HER ROAR. 💙⚡

🏆🏈 LET THE PLAYOFFS BEGIN! 🏈🏆

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here! This Sunday and Monday, our UA Flag Calgary athletes hit the field for playoff football, and by the end of the weekend, champions will be crowned! 🔥

Our UA Rise, UA Next and UA Girls divisions are ready to compete, showcase their skills and leave everything on the field.

The hard work, the teamwork, the friendships and all the hours of practice have led to this weekend.

There will be big plays, great competition, unforgettable moments and memories made along the way.

To all our athletes, coaches and families, let’s bring the energy and make this a weekend to remember!

Who will rise to the occasion? Who will take home the championship?

UA GIRLS IS TAKING OVER. 💙

There’s something special about stepping onto the field with your teammates.

Cheering for each other.
Competing together.
Learning together.
Celebrating every first down, every touchdown, every big play and every little win.

UA Girls is about giving girls a place where they can play football, build confidence, chase goals and have fun with teammates who are growing right alongside them.

Because when girls have the opportunity to play together, something bigger starts to happen.

They start believing in themselves.
They start believing in each other.
They start seeing what’s possible.

And this is only the beginning.

The future of girls flag football is here.

The future is fast.
The future is fearless.
The future is together.

The future is UA Girls. 🏈❤️

UA Girls.
All for her.
All together.
All in.

Week 1 tested our athletes.

Week 2 is about showing up, getting better, and putting what you learned into action.

Lace up your cleats. Lock in. Bring your energy. 💪

Every practice, every rep, every game is another opportunity to build confidence, improve your football IQ, and grow as an athlete.

We’re already seeing our athletes learn, compete, encourage each other, and step outside their comfort zones.

To our coaches, parents, and athletes, thank you for bringing the energy and supporting the kids every week. The more we invest in them, the more they grow.
