As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what an amazing start we’ve had to our 2026–2027 cadet training year! 🍂💙

There is so much to be thankful for this year, and we couldn’t let the long weekend pass without celebrating and being thankful!

❤️ We are thankful for…

⚓ Our returning cadets-for coming back ready to learn, lead, and make another year of memories!

🚢 Our new cadets-for taking the first steps on their cadet journey and bringing fresh energy and excitement to our corps!

🫡 Our Officers and leadership team-We welcomed aboard CI Barker and CV Anozie, who generously give their time and dedication to supporting our cadets! A special welcome to our new Commanding Officer, SLt (NL) Lauenstein, and our new Executive Officer, SLt (NL) Barker! We’re excited to have you all aboard as we begin this new chapter together! ⚓💙

🏠 Our new ship!-We’re excited to begin this new chapter in our new home and continue building our corps together.

🎯 Camps, training days, and new adventures-from learning drill and naval traditions to developing new skills, working as a team, and making memories along the way!

💙 Our amazing Branch volunteers-We are incredibly thankful for the dedication and hard work of our Branch, whose continued support helps strengthen the Corps.

💙 Our amazing cadet parents and families-Thank you for being such an important part of your Cadets journey!

Since returning in September, we’ve already packed so much into our training nights, and we’re excited to share a few snapshots of what we’ve been up to! 📸

To our cadets, officers, families, and amazing Branch: THANK YOU for being part of our ship’s company and helping make this year such a great start. A strong corps is built on teamwork, dedication, and community, and we’re grateful to have you all aboard! 💙

From our ship to yours, we wish everyone a safe, happy, and wonderful Thanksgiving filled with good food, great company, and plenty of reasons to be thankful!
