A big thanks to community organizations, businesses and citizens of Spruce View. You know who you are so this is not the place to single out by names for acknowledgement. The Spruce View and Area Food Bank has been well supplied with food donations and funding this last year and we go into the new year in a strong position. We look forward to another great year of generously helping local citizens who need support.
Please be aware that, because of our generous community we are able to maximize support, probably more than food banks in larger communities who often struggle with lack of sufficient resources.

The children at Vacation Bible School at King of Kings Lutheran Church are hoping to fill this boat up with nonperishable food for the food bank. Let's help them out! Please bring your donations to the front doors of the church in Dickson this week.

Packaged mashed and scalloped potatoes
Baking supplies
Hamburger helper
Jam
Canned ham
Canned salmon and tuna
Salt and pepper
Mayo
Pasta sauce
Paper products
Canned tomatoes

Items may be dropped in the front entry at King of Kings Church Monday to Wednesday 8-4, at the Spruce View Coop or by calling ‪403 728-3369‬ and arranging for drop-off. Your generosity is much appreciated.

We wish all the students, parents, and staff of Spruce View School a blessed, safe and Merry Christmas.

A great big thank you to the students, parents, and staff of the school for the humongous donation of food to the Spruce View and District Food Bank! It was all gathered during the last week's of December.

Thanks also to Santa's staff elves that delivered it to the Food Bank with the Viking Bus!

When you need a little help, we are here. The food bank is located in King of Kings Lutheran Church in Dickson.

Our services are provided by appointment, and there is someone available on a regular and timely basis.

Access to the food bank is very discreet to ensure your privacy!

If you need a little help, please call. If you know someone in need of support, please call for them. You could initiate a real lightening of their load. You could be a bridge for them.

Food donations, for the food bank, may be made through contacting the numbers listed above or by dropping the donations off at the Church or the Central Alberta Co-op, Spruce View.

Financial donations are also gratefully accepted and donors may request a charitable donation receipt.
