THE GRAND TOTAL OF INGRID AND HER TEAM’S COOKIES for HEAT FUNDRAISER!!! ⬇️

A total of 249 packs of “hamburger cookies” were sold at the Pastry Kings Princess Bakery, The Butcher Shop Brockville and the Dairy Barn North Augusta RAISING a WHOPPING $3,224.55! 🥳

BUT she/they didn’t stop there… IN ADDITION there were: donations from St. Lawrence Forming, Leading Edge Overhead Doors, Jack Van Dusen Excavating Ltd and Brenda Van Dusen totalling $800; and donation jars at the bakery which netted $623.65 and the Dairy Barn which netted $789! 🥳

Bringing the GRAND TOTAL OF THE FUNDRAISER TO $5,437.20!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

A big THANK YOU to all of the businesses above AND to everyone who bought cookies or made a donation, we truly appreciate it. 🤗

WE CAN HOOK UP THE GAS AND HEAT THE WP4S UNIT FOR THE 2026/27 school year and beyond! 🙏😇🥰

We made our last WP4S delivery of the 2025/26 school year yesterday, dropping off 398 bags of two WP4S baggies each, for our 398 students who are heading into the summer next week. 🥰

In total we distributed 15,663 weekend food baggies, across our 22 local schools, the most in a school year. Pictured below are 5 of the 10 vehicle loads that went out yesterday! 🥰

Our 11 year Weekender Program grand total is 92,810 baggies, which translates to 92,810 weekends made easier for a local kid/teen who live with food insecurity. 🙏

We had a little volunteer party afterwards to celebrate 25/26, our first school year with Loaves & Fishes! 🥳 Our future looks bright, assisting students from JK-G12, THANKS TO L&F AND TO YOUR SUPPORT! 🥰

The Pastry Kings Princess Bakery is wrapping up their cookie campaign supporting us, on June 15th. We make our last delivery of the 25/26 school year on June 17th.

Please drop by the bakery, the Butcher Shop Brockville or the Dairy Barn in North Augusta to pick some up! I did and here are the smiles from last Saturday to prove it!

Last Wednesday May 27th, Loaves & Fishes held their Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation at the Pier Church. Pictured here is L&F President/Board Chair Joan Thomas, who summarized the 2025 year, including the addition of the WP4S. She also thanked the staff and all the volunteers of their 3 programs, which ALL fight food insecurity! 🥰 Thanks to Joan for all she does too! 👏

And a big THANKS to Joan, Patty (L&F Treasurer) and Laurie (L&F Restaurant Manger) for leading the due-diligence process to bring the WP4S under the Loaves and Fishes banner, and to the L&F Board for believing in our program. 🙏🤗

UPDATE: THE COOKIE FUNDRAISER CONTINUES until June 15th (was the 30th) at the Pastry Kings Princess Bakery! 🥳 Have hamburgers for supper and dessert AND support us!🍔🥰

We reached 90,000 (+342 more) WP4S baggies packed & delivered, assisting local kids/teens (JK-G12) who live with food insecurity! 🥳 We look at that as 90,342 weekends made easier, thanks to our dedicated volunteers & your support! 🥰🙏
