The Giving Collective is at it again! Another donation to a great community initiative!
Eden’s Orchard (Brockville) is a community orchard that is growing free food with a goal of producing 10,000+lbs of food for our community each year while also growing plants so they can install more community orchards.
The local businesses that donated towards this is Cover to Cover, Flutter N' Fly Makers Cove, Jeff Robinson Psychotherapy, Sills Mediation, Inked By Kaur, EPML Services, Goliger’s TravelPlus, Katie Edgley Mortel Morgatges and Pua hana Coffee! Help 2 Others is looking to grow our team!
Have you ever ran an event and wished you had help to do it? Do you have a great idea for a fundraiser but don't know how to get started? Or maybe you would just like to give back to your community. Well Help 2 Others would love to hear from you. We are looking at adding a few more team members to better serve our community.

Help 2 Others currently runs:
1. The Giving Trees - community orchard in Mallorytown
2. In The Game - youth sports equipment program
3. The Giving Collective - group of businesses that donate to local causes.
4. Charity Chuckles - stand up comedy show
5. Assist other charitable agencies

This is a volunteer position where if you have some free time and want to do some good and help others, then please message us to find out more.

Booth is filling up nicely and money is being raised for kids to get into local sports. We would like to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who has donated, bought items and help promote our cause.
To be completely open and honest we have decided that we are switching from 1/2 of the profits to be donated to 1/3's. This is due to the increase in expenses and so now we are able to refill our equipment faster which in turn raises more money in the end for the kids.
Curtis Burns and I do not make any money from this program, our goal is to get as many children into sports as possible.

Another month went by and another donation made by The Giving Collective which is a group of amazing local businesses that pool money together monthly and decide where in the community it could so some good.
For the month of August the group decided to donate to the Crowder family to assist them with purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle for Alicia Crowder who has MS. The Crowder family has always helped those in need for many of years, including me! When I was just starting to run charity events Kory Crowder lent me equipment and talked logistics on how to make events run smoothly as he had run Brockvilles MS Society for a number of years. I wouldn't doubt for a second that that anyone of them would do whatever they could for someone in need.
