On Saturday June 13th, the RCL District G and Ontario Summer Games Trials were held at TISS with events held for ages U10-Masters. Over 300 athletes competed in more than 700 individual events with outstanding results.

Brockville Legion had many athletes with top finishes, qualifying for the Legion District G and Ontario Summer Games teams!

A special acknowledgment for those who results have qualified them for the Legion Youth National in Regina Aug 7-9th!

There were some great results that hit reach qualifying time in the sprints but unfortunately the wind readings were too high to be accepted so watch out for (hopefully) additional events at Nationals:

Registration for the Royal Canadian Legion District G Championship and Ontario Summer Games Qualifier Meet is now open!

Competition will be held Saturday June 13 2026, at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville.

While this meet serves as the selection meet for the District G and OSG teams (U14-U18), events are offered for ages U10-Masters.

For those U14-U18, you must reside in District G due to team selection requirements. For all other age categories, this restriction does not apply.

A huge congratulations to Jack Gregory on an amazing Ontario U20 Championship meet! He was the Bronze Medalist in the 1500m, running a new personal best of 4:01.77 on Saturday. He followed that up with a Silver Medal and new Indoor PB of 8:40.62 on Sunday!

Registration for the Spring/Summer 2026 Session is now open!

Training available with Grade 3-6 and Grade 7+ programs for running jumping and throwing!

This season offers a multitude of opportunities, whether you are trying to qualify for the National Championships, a high school student looking for additional support on the road to OFSAA, working towards a spot at this years Ontario Summer Games, a masters athlete returning to the sport after many years off or are one of our Rising Stars in the Junior Development program, we welcome everyone to the team!

Practices for the upcoming season will start the week of March 30th, and information of early season practice locations will be communicated to athletes directly via our private Facebook group depending on weather (TISS Track/Indoor Track, Laurier Hill, etc).

Congratulations to Coach Laura Sivers who had a strong first day of the Canadian Masters Indoor Championships winning THREE Canadian titles (W40-44) and taking a silver medal in her 4th event! Way to run, jump and throw!
