Join us for the first Music in the Park in HEL,HILEȻ! The Blue Hearts revisit the intimate, authentic, and traditional roots of the blues, showcasing decades of collective experience in the genre. Big Hank Lionhart and Mark Comerford are veterans of the Canadian blues scene, previously famed for their work in Uncle Wiggly’s Hot Shoes Blues Band, which recorded for RCA Records and toured nationally. Joined by Mick Woodhouse on bass, James McRae on drums and Steve Ranta on keys. These veterans of the road have opened for Muddy Waters, Joe Cocker and more represented BC at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn where they made it to the semifinals.

11:30 Pearl of the South Pacific
This traditional Samoan dance troupe led by Mua Va'a celebrates Polynesian culture through dance while empowering youth, young adults and fostering community.

12:30 The Sarah Smith Band
Sarah Smith is a fiercely talented Canadian singer/songwriter, known for her powerful and compelling stage performances and the bold humanity of her songwriting.

1:30 Fred Penner
The Legend is back!!! 4-time Juno award winner Fred Penner is a gentle giant with an undeniable ability to make you feel good about yourself. This musical master brings 40+ years of commitment, consistency and depth to a career that blends the many genres of performing and communication.
