What a wonderful and unforgettable experience in Brampton, Canada! 🇨🇦❤️🇮🇳

Recently, we had the great pleasure of hosting a Meet & Greet with the Veterans Cricket Team India, who were here in Canada to participate in the Veterans Cricket .

It was truly special to spend quality time with these cricketing legends—sharing conversations, laughter, memories, and celebrating their passion for the game. Their dedication to cricket and their journey continue to inspire cricket lovers across generations.

Having Team India’s veterans in Brampton made the occasion even more special. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with them, welcome them to Canada, and create memories that will stay with us for a long time.

A heartfelt thank you to all the players for taking the time to join us. Wishing Team India great success in the Veterans Cricket World Cup! 🏆🇮🇳

🇮🇳 Celebrating ’s — A Celebration of Pride, Unity & Community 🇨🇦

What a memorable way to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day here in Canada! 🇮🇳🇨🇦

On 15th August 2026, My Indians In Canada Association - MICA proudly celebrated Indian Independence Day at Brampton City Hall bringing together hundreds of Indo-Canadians in a celebration filled with patriotism, culture, unity and community spirit.

One of the most proud moments was the display of the outside India, where hundreds of community members came together to hold and celebrate under our beloved Tiranga. 🇮🇳❤️

A heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Vaidehi Raut-Bhagat, Chair of Panorama India, on receiving the 2026 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to bringing Indo-Canadian communities and organizations together.

It was also wonderful to hear Mayor Patrick Brown express his deep affection and admiration for India. Having visited India 21 times, his connection with the country and its people was truly heartwarming.

The celebrations continued on 16th August at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto, where we attended Panorama India’s India Day Celebration. I was honoured to be invited to the VIP Meet & Greet with Canada in India (High Commission of Canada) Mr. ji & Hon. Mr. Mahaveer Singhvi ji India in Toronto -Consulate General of India and several respected community leaders.

These celebrations are a beautiful reminder of the strong and growing friendship between India and Canada, and of the important role the Indo-Canadian community plays in building bridges between the two nations.

A proud and beautifully celebrated Indian Independence Day! 🇮🇳
