There is so much to be proud of with this club. The opportunities to learn through past champions and DTM,s, the opportunities to complete level 4,5 and DTM projects, the celebration of each other - the friendships - the stories (and there are so many!)

And now we have one more thing to be proud of

What a night! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who made the Cal-tastic Event such a success.

We had speeches, jeopardy-style Table Topics, an amazing raffle, and a closing speech by Cal himself.

Huge thanks to the the planning committee, to those who provided for the raffle, the amazing volunteers, and everyone who came out. You made it what it was.

So this happened on Friday…!!!

had our Tall Tales and Evaluation Speech Contests!

Our Contest Chair Roger Caesar lit up the room with the excitement of a champion (a world champion!), and Lena Shaw did an amazing job as our Chief Judge, keeping us on the straight and narrow.

Such a wonderful test speaker speech about asking the important question and the insightful evaluations that followed.

Then there were the Tall Tales… boy, our members have done some amazing things, from golfing with alligators, adventure with a magic ball, searching for a garden of peace, ketchup and fries with a hairy hand, as well as a someone being stuck inside a red balloon.

If you missed it… there’s always the next contest in January!

Or better yet, join us for a evening on September 25th from 7pm to 9pm where we have a party for Cal Lockhart!
