🎉 GALA DAYS FUNDRAISER SUCCESS! 🎉

What an amazing Gala Days weekend for 2nd Berwick Scouting Group! ❤️💙

Despite the weather throwing some serious rain our way one day, we still had an incredibly successful fundraiser! And the best part? Not one complaint from our kids or our parents! They showed up, got to work, and made the best of it with smiles on their faces. ☔️🙌

A HUGE thank you to all of our youth and parents who volunteered their time. Your willingness to jump in, help wherever needed, and keep things moving made such a difference. It was wonderful to see everyone working together as a team for our group and our youth.

And of course, a special thank you to our Scouters who worked behind the scenes and on the front lines to make sure everything was where it needed to be and that we had what we needed to keep the fundraiser running smoothly. Your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed! ❤️

Gala Days is an important fundraiser for our group and helps us provide more opportunities and experiences for our youth throughout the Scouting year. Every volunteer hour, every sale, and every helping hand contributes to making those opportunities possible.

We are so proud of everyone who stepped up and helped make Gala Days 2026 a success! 🎉

This is what Scouting is all about — teamwork, community, helping one another, and making memories along the way. ❤️💙

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL! 🚌🍎

It’s back to school week, and we can’t wait to hear all about the adventures, new friends, and exciting things our youth have been up to! ❤️💙💚

We’re also getting excited to kick off another amazing year of Scouting! 🏕️🌲 Our Beavers, Cubs & Troop meetings will be starting over the next couple of weeks, and we can’t wait to see everyone back and welcome another year of fun, friendship, learning and adventure!

Here’s to a fantastic school year and an even better Scouting year! ⭐️

2 of 2nd Berwick Scouting youth, 3rd year Scout Gavin Fraser and 2nd year Scout Hunter LeBlanc had an amazing opportunity this past week to attend Camp Nedaooe In Middle Musquodoboit as SIT's (Scouters in Training) along side 8 other Scouts at a Cub Camp for 30 youth.
They took on the responsibility of running the camp, monitoring the activities, trouble shooting situations, keeping the youth safe, on task and engaged.
They were exhausted, full of great stories when they returned home. They also now have a greater appreciation for all the work the Scouters of 2nd Berwick Scouting do to make the program happen.
Thank you to PEC and area Scouters Wayne, Annik, Monty, Peter, Jon, Nancy and Patrick for making this opportunity happen for them. They look forward to doing it again in the future!

Our apologies for the ketchup arriving later than expected!
We hope everyone had a fun ride and huge shout out to all the rides. We checked the parking area before we left and did not find even one piece of garage on the ground!! 👍

What an amazing day on the water for the 2nd Berwick Cubs as well as a few youth and Scouters from Beavers and Scouts to ensure there was enough adult supervision to make it an incredible yet safe trip!

Our Cubs recently had the opportunity to set sail aboard the Eastern Star in beautiful Lunenburg, and it was an adventure they won't soon forget.

From helping hoist sails and learning about life aboard a tall ship to enjoying the fresh ocean air and stunning coastal views, the experience was packed with excitement, learning, and teamwork.

The Cubs showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and cooperation throughout the voyage. Many stepped outside their comfort zones, tried something new, and gained a greater appreciation for what sailing brings to Nova Scotia.

A huge thank you to the crew of the Eastern Star for making us feel welcome and sharing their knowledge and passion for sailing. Experiences like this help build confidence, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.

⚓🌊⛵ Adventure was calling, and the 2nd Berwick Cubs answered!
