What an amazing day on the water for the 2nd Berwick Cubs as well as a few youth and Scouters from Beavers and Scouts to ensure there was enough adult supervision to make it an incredible yet safe trip!
Our Cubs recently had the opportunity to set sail aboard the Eastern Star in beautiful Lunenburg, and it was an adventure they won't soon forget.
From helping hoist sails and learning about life aboard a tall ship to enjoying the fresh ocean air and stunning coastal views, the experience was packed with excitement, learning, and teamwork.
The Cubs showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and cooperation throughout the voyage. Many stepped outside their comfort zones, tried something new, and gained a greater appreciation for what sailing brings to Nova Scotia.
A huge thank you to the crew of the Eastern Star for making us feel welcome and sharing their knowledge and passion for sailing. Experiences like this help build confidence, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
