The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville offers free, hands-on safety education that equips children with practical skills, builds resilience, and helps create safer families and stronger communities. The Children’s Safety Village - Belleville is an Educational Center specifically designed to teach Road Safety and Personal Safety to Children in Grades Two, Three and Four. The Village features s

mall buildings sponsored by local Community Organizations and Businesses, detailed roadways, traffic lights, operational railway crossing, mini vehicles, bicycles and an Instructional Classroom where the Students receive hands on instruction from a Member of the Belleville Police Service. The Children’s Safety Village is located on property owned by the City of Belleville adjacent to the Belleville Police Service with the help of local Businesses and Organizations.

🚒🔥 This is what Fire Safety looks like at the Village with our Kindergarten friends!

We had an amazing time welcoming the students from Deseronto Public School for a fun and interactive Fire Safety program. From learning what to do when they hear a smoke alarm to practicing important emergency skills, these young learners did a fantastic job!

Thank you, Deseronto Public School, for spending the day with us. We loved having you at the Village and can't wait to see you again soon! 🚦💙

🪖💙 FREE HELMET GIVEAWAY – JUNE 20! 💙🪖

The Children's Safety Village of Belleville is thrilled to host a FREE Helmet Giveaway on Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, and this event would not be possible without the incredible support of Bonn Law and McDougall Insurance & Financial.

From their unwavering commitment to our community to their generous donation of helmets, Bonn Law and McDougall Insurance both continue to demonstrate what it means to truly give back. Their compassion, leadership, and dedication to keeping children safe are an inspiration to us all. They are more than community partners—they are champions for local families and passionate advocates for injury prevention.

Since 2015, Bonn Law has been participating in various community events in conjunction with other local organizations to raise awareness about bike safety, the importance of wearing a helmet and to give away helmets to local children who need them.

Join us, together with Redpath Sugar, McDougall Insurance & Financial, the Brain Injury Association Quinte District at the on JUNE 20, 2026 for a free helmet and fitting!

We had such a wonderful time last week hosting Marmora Public School for TWO back-to-back Street Safety classes at the Village! 🚦🚸

Students had the opportunity to learn important pedestrian and road safety skills through hands-on, interactive learning in our miniature village setting. From crosswalks and traffic lights to road signs and safe decision-making, it was amazing to see everyone so engaged and eager to learn.

Thank you so much to the students and staff from Marmora Public School for spending the day with us — your energy and enthusiasm made it such a great visit! 💛
