TOMORROW — ONE LAST TRUNK SALE! 🚗🛍️

That’s a wrap on another summer! ☀️ Tomorrow is the FINAL Arthur Lions Trunk Sale of the 2026 season, and we’d love to finish things off with a great crowd.

Come out for one last morning of bargain hunting, treasure finding and supporting our local vendors — including some familiar faces from throughout the summer!

🌽 Fresh local corn will be back!
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs will be available!
🛍️ And, of course, plenty of treasures waiting to be discovered.

ONE LAST TRUNK SALE — LET’S MAKE IT A GOOD ONE! 🚗🛍️

This Saturday is the FINAL Arthur Lions Trunk Sale of the season! ☀️

We’ve had a great summer in the Looney Tooney parking lot, and we’d love to finish the season with a busy morning of vendors, shoppers and bargain hunting.

Some of our regular vendors will be back — including Bridget! — so if you’ve enjoyed stopping by their tables this summer, this is your last chance to see what they’ve brought along.

And there will be a couple of delicious reasons to stop by too:

🦁 LOOKING FOR A WAY TO GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY?

A new Lions year is beginning — and there’s room at the table for you.

The Arthur Lions Club is a group of local people who volunteer their time, pitch in where they can, have some fun along the way, and work together to make good things happen in our community.

You don’t need a special skill. You don’t need to know a Lion. And you certainly don’t have to commit every waking hour of your life to volunteering.

What we are looking for are people who want to get involved.

Maybe you can help at a fundraiser. Maybe you have an idea for a new community project. Maybe you’d like to work with our youth programs. Maybe you have skills or connections that could help us do something we haven’t even thought of yet.

Come see what we’re about.

Our first meeting of the new Lions year is this Wednesday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John Parish Centre in Arthur.

There’s no obligation and no pressure to join. Come to a meeting, meet us, ask questions and see whether Lions might be a good fit for you.

We can always use more hands, more ideas and more people who care about our community. ❤️

Come out to the Arthur Lions Club Trunk Sale today from 9 AM–1 PM and see what you can find!

🛍️ Shop the vendors and hunt for a bargain or two.
🌽 Fresh corn is back! Grab a dozen while you’re there — it’s been a popular addition to our Saturday mornings!
🍗 Chicken Dinner tickets will also be available for purchase for our September 24 Drive-Thru BBQ Chicken Dinner. Tickets are $20 each.

For $20, you’ll get a BBQ half chicken dinner with all the fixings — including, of course, one of our famous Arthur Lions Club butter tarts. 🥧

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND — LINE DANCING IS BACK! 🤠👢

We had so much fun this spring that we’re doing it again!

The Arthur Lions Club is once again partnering with Rockin' Boots Line Dancing for another series of line dancing classes this fall.

Whether you joined us last time or have always wanted to give line dancing a try, everyone is welcome! Classes are geared to beginner and improver levels — no experience necessary.

📅 Tuesdays: Sept. 29; Oct. 6, 13 & 27; Nov. 3 & 10
⏰ 7:00–8:30 pm

Don’t let the dull skies or chance of a little rain fool you — the Arthur Lions Club Trunk Sale is happening TODAY from 9 AM–1 PM at the Looney Tooney parking lot!

🌽 Lion Cub Ali will be back selling fresh corn on the cob! They SOLD OUT last Saturday, so come early and grab yours before it’s gone again.

And while you’re there, be sure to check out the other vendors and see what treasures you can find!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Arthur Lions Club Bingo on Tuesday night!

We truly appreciate everyone who has come out to support our first three bingo nights. Your support has helped us get this new initiative off the ground — and we’re happy to say Bingo is continuing!

Mark your calendars for our next three dates:

Tuesday, September 15
Tuesday, October 20
Tuesday, November 17

All bingos are held at St. John Parish Centre, 150 Georgina Street, Arthur. Doors open at 5:00 pm and games begin at 6:45 pm.
