Circles Wellington County

Circles Wellington County Circles Wellington County is a unique, community based poverty reduction initiative for people living in Wellington County. We meet weekly in Arthur, ON.

Circles Wellington County is hosted by the Wellington County Learning Centre, with weekly meetings taking place at the Arthur United Church. We receive program supports and funding from the County of Wellington, United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, as well as donations from individuals, groups and businesses in the community. The Circles initiative is a new approach to poverty reduction involvin

g matching low-income people with middle or upper income allies. Research from across North America tells us the best way to end poverty is to build a strong and supportive community. The program has been implemented in dozens of communities in the US and Canada.
