This May 4–10 πŸ—“οΈ is Mental Health Week πŸ’š and we are recognizing the Canadian Mental Health Association’s invitation to come together 🀝
β€œIt’s a call to spark small, everyday actions of connection, and to recognize the role we all play in supporting mental health through connection.” πŸ’¬βœ¨

In Canada, 1 in 5 people experience a mental illness in any given year, yet stigma and barriers to care still prevent many from reaching out for support 🚧 Mental Health Week, led by the CMHA, encourages us to have open conversations πŸ—£οΈ, reduce stigma πŸ’š, and support one another in meaningful ways πŸ€—

For those living in Wellington County πŸ“, www.helpisherewellington.com offers a centralized place to find local mental health and addiction supports πŸ’»πŸ“žπŸ₯, whether you prefer online, phone, or in-person care. It includes:
β€’ Local crisis and support lines ☎️
β€’ Free and low-cost counselling and peer support options πŸ’¬
β€’ Digital tools like BounceBack Ontario and Wellness Together Canada πŸ“±
β€’ Guidance on where to turn based on how you’re feeling 🧭

If you need immediate support in Canada, you can also call or text 988 ☎️ β€” the Su***de Crisis Helpline, available 24/7 πŸ•’

Let’s continue to build a community where everyone feels safe to talk πŸ’¬, seek help 🀝, and be supported πŸ’š
