My teen daughter was asked by her doctor when was her last menstrual period. She said "it's regular, no need for dates". When I asked her why the reply, she told me that doctors can no longer be trusted and they should become accustomed to not knowing. Welcome to the new America.

When wartime rationing hit and commercial crops were diverted overseas, the government urged everyday citizens to rip up their front lawns, public parks, and empty city lots to plant food. The response was a staggering triumph of localized resilience. Millions of ordinary people turned their small plots of dirt into high-yield food hubs. Sadly, this incredible decentralized agricultural effort has been almost entirely erased from modern memory. Bringing back the Victory Garden mindset today isn't just a hobby; it is a vital step toward reclaiming personal food security and proving that our own soil is completely capable of sustaining us.
