Join us for a trash mob along 200st and 53rd near Nicomekl elementary school on August 27. We will provide trash buckets, pickers and gloves. No registration is required.

The Langley Volunteer Bureau assisted in recruiting and scheduling for 1,295 volunteer shifts, totaling 5,479 volunteer hours at the Langley Rotary Clubs, 2026 Ribfest!

Thank you to the Langley Ribfest committee for their leadership and a special shout out to Trinity Western University Spartans, Langley Rugby Club, Langley Rams, and Inclusion Langley Society for their tremendous support.

We are proud each year to partner with the Langley Ribfest and work along side the best volunteers, ever! See you next year.

The Township of Langley is hosting Forest Fest in partership with LEPS on Saturday, September 26, from 12 to 4pm at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum and are seeking volunteers to help at the event.

The Fort Langley Jazz and Arts Festival needs help! Please see request below for need Thursday and Friday....strong older students? Work group? And be rewarded with 2 weekend tickets to the Blues Shows!

Hello everyone!

We are in urgent need of a strong team of a few volunteers to help us build the festival infrastructure. If you or anyone you know is able to help out, you will receive 2 complimentary weekend passes to our Cool Blues Show as a huge thank you.

Here is what we need help with:

Thursday: Fence Set-Up We need strong, able-bodied volunteers who are comfortable lifting and placing heavy metal festival fences around Fort Langley Park.

Friday: Shade Netting Set-Up We need 4 strong-bodied volunteers to help install the mesh at the Community Hall. Volunteers must be comfortable going up and down a ladder and have the physical strength to hold a 35–50lb line.

Looking for a Summer job?
We are hiring a Community Liaison Worker to help with Member communication, Volunteer management, Community Events and other duties.

Experience: MS Office, Canva (preferred), comfortable making phone calls to our members and speaking to the public at events. Self-motivated, problem solver, and positive attitude.

You'll need a computer and access to the internet. Most hours will be done virtually with regular Teams meetings. Flexible hours of work with some weekend work required for community events.

Sometimes our members need help from people with some muscle!

Sign up as a Lifter and Mover for the Langley Volunteer Bureau to receive an email when we get a request from a member that needs some strength. Most common requests are setup or take down tasks for an event or festival, family fun days at schools or other project that requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and some agility. If you’re available on the dates needed, you can follow up using the info in the email.
