Looking for a Summer job?
We are hiring a Community Liaison Worker to help with Member communication, Volunteer management, Community Events and other duties.

Experience: MS Office, Canva (preferred), comfortable making phone calls to our members and speaking to the public at events. Self-motivated, problem solver, and positive attitude.

You'll need a computer and access to the internet. Most hours will be done virtually with regular Teams meetings. Flexible hours of work with some weekend work required for community events.

Sometimes our members need help from people with some muscle!

Sign up as a Lifter and Mover for the Langley Volunteer Bureau to receive an email when we get a request from a member that needs some strength. Most common requests are setup or take down tasks for an event or festival, family fun days at schools or other project that requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and some agility. If you’re available on the dates needed, you can follow up using the info in the email.

Shifts Available\Weekly Commitment Requested:
• Thursdays: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (4 hrs)
• Fridays: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (4 hrs)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a couple of enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our busy and dynamic thrift store team! This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, being part of a collaborative environment, and contributing to a cause that supports the community.
