Ampersand connects original artwork with businesses, organizations, designers, public spaces, and collectors through a curated collection of artwork available for rent and purchase.

Selected artists have opportunities to:
• Earn income through artwork rentals and sales
• Have their work featured in the Ampersand online catalogue
• Be considered for rotating exhibitions and partner locations
• Reach new audiences, businesses, designers, and collectors

Emerging, mid-career, and established artists working across a variety of mediums are encouraged to apply.

Calling all 2D artists! Applications are now open for the 2027 Ampersand Art Rentals and Sales Program, with selected works being considered for exhibition at Tinhorn Creek Winery.

Located in the Okanagan, Tinhorn Creek Winery will feature a curated selection of 2D artwork throughout its space as part of our 2027 exhibition season.

Painters, illustrators, photographers, printmakers, mixed-media artists, and other 2D artists are encouraged to apply.

Join artist Alana Evans for an introduction to plein air painting at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards!

Working in oils, you’ll learn techniques for composing a landscape, building transparent layers of colour, and creating a finished alla prima painting. Instruction will focus on simplifying the landscape into strong shapes and developing confident colour-mixing skills—from primary colours to rich, dynamic palettes.

Suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike. All supplies are included.

Join artist Molly Gray to create a one-of-a-kind hand-printed tote bag!

Using Pébéo Setacolor Fabric Paint, you’ll explore stencil printing and fabric painting techniques to design your own reusable canvas tote. During this workshop, you’ll learn how to create effective stencils, along with brush techniques for achieving crisp, clean lines on fabric.

Participants will leave with a custom canvas tote bag and the skills to continue creating at home. All supplies are included.

Join us on September 19 at 12:30 PM at Tinhorn Creek Winery for a hand-printed tote bag workshop with artist Molly Gray.

About the Workshop
Create a one-of-a-kind hand-printed tote bag using Pébéo Setacolor Fabric Paint. Guided by artist Molly Gray, you'll explore stencil printing and fabric painting techniques to design your own reusable canvas tote. Learn how to create effective stencils, achieve crisp, clean lines with brushwork, and gain the confidence to continue creating on fabric at home. Participants will leave with a custom tote bag and a new set of creative skills. All supplies are included.

Please note that participants must be comfortable using an X-Acto knife and will be required to sign a waiver before participating.

About the Artist
Molly Gray is a multidisciplinary artist based in Langley, British Columbia, specializing in printmaking, painting, illustration, and metal sculpture. Driven by a love of hands-on creation, she approaches each piece with a sense of curiosity and play, a philosophy that also shapes her teaching. Her work is inspired by the landscapes, flora, and fauna of the Pacific Northwest, ranging in style from fluid impressionism to illustrative realism.

Applications are now open for the Langley Arts Council's Fall 2026–Fall 2027 Ampersand Art Rentals & Sales Program!

We are currently accepting applications from 2D and 3D artists, including painters, sculptors, ceramic artists, glass artists, artisans, public artists, and more.

Artists accepted into the program will be considered for exhibition opportunities at our Okanagan winery partners, Tinhorn Creek Winery and Black Hills Estate Winery, as part of the 2027 exhibition season, along with placements in our growing network of business and commercial venues.

About the Workshop

About the Artist
Alana Evans is a contemporary oil painter inspired by the landscapes of British Columbia. Through bold colour, expressive brushwork, and layered techniques, she explores themes of memory, emotion, and belonging. A graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Evans creates dynamic paintings that reflect a deep connection to place. She lives and works in Langley, British Columbia.
