OPENING DOORS. BREAKING BARRIERS. BUILDING FUTURES. 🧡

Today, we want to take a very heartfelt moment to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible teams at The Home Depot – 7254, Rocky View County SFC – 7347, and The Home Depot for their extraordinary generosity through the Spring Orange Door Project.

Because of your support, BGC Airdrie Club has received an incredible $15,091.78 donation — and we want you to know just how much that means.

For a young person, having someone believe in them can change everything.

It can mean having a safe place to go.
It can mean learning a new skill.
It can mean having access to a program they otherwise couldn’t afford.
It can mean finding a mentor, building confidence, discovering their strengths, or simply knowing that someone is there when they need support.

Your generosity helps us provide the programs, services, opportunities, and supports our youth need to grow, learn, and prepare for their journey into adulthood — without barriers standing in their way.

And that is the true impact of the Orange Door Project.

It isn’t just about funds raised.
It’s about doors being opened.
It’s about barriers being removed.
It’s about possibilities becoming realities.
And most importantly, it’s about giving young people the opportunity to believe in what their future can be.

We are incredibly proud to have partners like The Home Depot who recognize that when we invest in young people, we invest in the future of our entire community.

A HUGE BGC AIRDRIE CLUB THANK YOU TO:

Smitty’s Airdrie for supporting our Friday Breakfasts all summer long!

Sobeys for providing gift cards to help purchase all the breakfast extras, including snacks, syrup, fruit, juice, and more!

Real Canadian Superstore for generously donating all of our paper plates, napkins, and cutlery!

And a HUGE thank you to our amazing Week 7 Friday volunteers from The Home Depot Fulfillment Warehouse and ATB Financial for spending their morning serving breakfast to our campers with smiles, enthusiasm, and kindness!

Week 7 marked the final Friday of our Summer Camp Breakfasts, and we couldn’t have ended the summer on a better note!

Because of your incredible generosity and support, our campers were able to start their Fridays with full bellies and happy hearts all summer long. Thank you for investing your time, resources, and energy into the children and youth of our community.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of our amazing partners and volunteers who stood beside us throughout the summer. You helped make our Summer Camp Breakfasts a huge success!

RHINO Defense is coming back!!

SUPPORT THE AIRDRIE BGC WHILE EMPOWERING YOUR CHILD LIKE NEVER BEFORE!

Join us for this incredible Child Safety Fundraiser Event for the Airdrie BGC! Help us to support this local organization while providing your children with valuable life saving skills!

This course is designed for children age 5-11 and will provide your child with vital safety skills while building their belief in themselves. The kids will finish the course equipped with practical skills and confidence which empowers them to identify potential risks while remaining calm and taking decisive action. They will practice using their voices effectively, learning how to call for assistance loudly and clearly to attract attention and deter potential threats. They will learn how to deal with emergency situations including taking part in 911 practice drills. With this structured, age-appropriate session, kids participate in fun yet purposeful exercises where they will also learn physical techniques including awareness and anti-abduction techniques.

Additionally, as an added bonus for this event we will provide the RHINO Child Safety Booklet and the RHINO Anti-Bullying Guide with your registration. Use these valuable guides to help keep your children safe!

Each child participant will require a ticket. Parents in attendance do not require a ticket.

Early Bird Pricing of $59.00 will be in effect until Midnight on September 15th.

Regular Pricing of $79.00 will be in effect starting September 15th.

RHINO Defense is coming back!!

Let us empower your Teens to make the best decisions in the worst situations!

The RHINO Teen Safe program is designed to provide Teens, age 12-18, with the tools to navigate the difficult situations they may find themselves in. We provide training on situational awareness, boundary setting, saying NO effectively, developing positive self worth, the importance of confidence, action vs. reaction, vocalization, stress and adrenaline response, everyday weapons and how to use them, basic and intermediate striking, and escaping holds and chokes.

Support the Airdrie BGC while giving your Teens the skills that could save their life!

This is some of the best reality-based training you will ever receive!

Each participant will require a ticket.
