The Gina Spence Program, formerly known as Gina Spence Productions is a registered charity #856, with over 35 years of experience in the performing arts and community outreach. Established in 1991 by our CEO and Founder Dr. Gina Spence-Virgil, GSP was created to offer a safe and professional platform for local artists to showcase their talents while addressing critical community issues. Over the years, GSP has evolved to meet the clinical needs of the community, initially focusing on the children left behind due to gun and gang-related violence in March 2009. Later expanded its services of professional grief and loss counseling in October 2023 to the community at large. By providing accessible and affordable supportive services, The Gina Spence Program aims to make a significant impact in the lives of those most in need, exemplifying a commitment to community well-being and empowerment.

Bermuda, look what we achieved together. 🧡

Our EORO 2026 fundraising goal was $80,000.
As of August 29, together we have raised $94,500 — $14,500 beyond our goal.

And behind those numbers is what matters most: 435 children served as they prepared for the new school year.

This was made possible in so many ways.

To everyone who donated, including the many who chose to give anonymously: thank you. Your generosity is part of this impact.

To our volunteers, in-kind sponsors, businesses and community partners: thank you for giving your time, resources, services and support.

And while the campaign has come to a close, the work continues.
Our support for children and families goes beyond a single campaign or distribution day. In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about how that support continues through EORO and GSP’s wider services.

Each One Reach One begins with practical back-to-school support, but our connection with families can go much further. 🧡

A uniform, backpack or school supply can bring a family through our doors. From there, we have an opportunity to listen, connect and better understand what they may be navigating.

For us, that matters because grief and loss can take many forms, and support can begin with simply having a space to connect.

Each One Reach One is one part of how we stay present for Bermuda’s children and families.

And while this year’s EORO campaign may be coming to a close, our work continues throughout the year.

We remain here to listen, connect and help ensure no one has to grieve alone. 🧡

Supporting children can mean paying attention to the everyday things that are part of their lives. 🧡

A new school year brings new routines, new responsibilities and many practical needs for families. Through Each One Reach One, our community comes together to help with some of those needs and offer meaningful support as children begin another school year.

That support takes many forms.
School supplies, uniforms, backpacks, lunch boxes, time, resources and helping hands all contributed to the care families experienced through EORO.

This year, we were pleased to welcome RUBIS as a new EORO sponsor. They joined our community of support by providing lunch boxes for children to use throughout the school year.

We’re grateful to RUBiS Energy Bermuda for choosing to support Each One Reach One and for adding another practical piece of back-to-school support for Bermuda’s children and families. 🧡

A morning of connection, preparation and celebration with our Champions and their families. 🧡

Our Annual Back-to-School Breakfast gave us time to come together before another school year got fully underway — to share breakfast, reconnect with families, prepare our Champions with school supplies and celebrate the milestones ahead.

What makes mornings like this especially meaningful is seeing our Champions at different stages of their educational journeys, from primary school through college.

As they grow, we value every opportunity to stay connected and continue walking alongside them. This special morning was made possible by a community of people and partners showing their support in different ways. 🧡

Supporting our community can take many forms, and each one has value.

For GSP, every contribution is meaningful. We’re grateful for the different ways people and organisations choose to support our work and stand alongside Bermuda’s children and families.

Behind Each One Reach One are volunteers who give their time, energy and care to help everything come together. 🧡

They sort and organise, prepare items, welcome families, help children find what they need and stay with us through the many moving parts of the day.

And while they are caring for others, we’re grateful for the community partners who continue to care for them too.

Year after year, FoodHub and Barritts have supported the volunteers behind Each One Reach One, helping us look after the people giving so much of their time to our children and families.

provided pizza and pastries, while kept our volunteers refreshed with juices, water and sodas throughout the day.

It’s a thoughtful part of the support surrounding EORO, and one we deeply appreciate.

There is something meaningful about having a place where people can simply come together.
A place to connect. To be welcomed. To feel part of a community that cares.

For GSP, creating that sense of belonging is an important part of how we serve. It reminds us that care is not only found in what we give, but also in the way we welcome and make space for one another.

And we’re grateful for community partners who have continued to help us create that experience over the years.

CedarBridge Academy has opened its doors to GSP year after year, giving our volunteers space to prepare and our families a central place to come together.
