ESN Sofia is happy to present the Events Calendar for the Month of May 🗓️– adventure where you’ll have the chance to meet other Erasmus students, explore the beautiful city of Sofia, and discover more about Bulgaria and its culture. 🇧🇬✨

Get ready for a unique day trip as ESN Plovdiv and ESN UCTM team up for an unforgettable railway journey!
Both groups will meet in Septemvri. 🤩

🗓️This is a one-day trip on 6th of December

Get ready for a unique day trip as ESN Plovdiv and ESN Sofia team up for an unforgettable railway journey!
Both groupws will meet in Septemvri.

From there, we’ll hop on the legendary “tesnolineika” narrow-gauge train, a one-of-a-kind railway in Bulgaria — recently ranked among the Top 10 train travel destinations in the world for autumn thanks to its stunning mountain views. 🍂🚞✨

📸 On the tesnolineika, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture amazing photos and videos! Between the wagons there are open-air spaces where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. You can also check out the restaurant wagon, where there’s a small bar offering drinks and snacks to make the trip even more enjoyable.

Our final stop: Velingrad — famous for its refreshing mineral waters and peaceful mountain atmosphere. We’ll enjoy a relaxed visit around the town and grab lunch together.

♻️ Sustainability tip: Bring your reusable water bottle — you can refill it with Velingrad’s natural mineral water right from the source!
