Wow what a day at VASY’S Creative Encounters
… with a soft start and lots of chatter.

We then settled into a welcome from Rose Marin STA and video from one of our guests Kerry McInnis in Sydney! Yes! Sadly unable to be with us. Wishing Mike a quick recovery. Hug.

Gina Fairley shone with her wonderful creative story about Olio Jewellery, her previous life, about change and future thoughts.

Thank you for being with us Gina.

Rose Marin stepped into Kerry's space at short notice and we experienced and laughed our way through her unknown creative side. Something we don't really see day to day as EO of STA.

Gratitude for the CASP grant, to the workings of the STA team, our guests and everyone who brought the day together.

Love the Yass Lawn Tennis Club as a venue. Clean up was quick'ish but we must say a permanent VASY venue would be easier!

Always a privilege to see inside an artist’s process.

Thank you to for being with VASY in Yass to lead your wonderful workshop, The Light Filled Still Life.
Natasha Rushka led a group of us in a weekend workshop painting still life subjects in oils and acrylics. We spent plenty of time with brushes in hand, as well as covering a lot of theory (which she described as ‘drinking from the firehose’) - and watching Natasha demonstrate her process.
Please come back again, Natasha!

You can find more of Natasha's work at www.natasharuschka.com

It's beautifully painted, but so what? What does the work tell or ask the viewer?

These are some of the questions explored in Pauline's collage workshop. You will explore the small, personalised stories that the artist brings to their art. This is a pathway to understanding how to add a layer of intrigue to your paintings, drawings, sculptures or any media you work in.

Take time to wander and immerse yourself in Penny's autumn garden.
