GOOD MORNING RIVERBANK 🌫️
🐾We had a beautiful, misty and foggy morning for our parkrun today! The cool haze over the river made for an absolutely magical 5km run, walk, jog.
A massive shoutout right off the bat to Ben S for stepping up and grabbing the kit from the container this morning, even though he wasn't officially on the Run Director roster today! And of course, the absolute star of the morning was young Lexi, the wire-haired Jack Russell puppy, who was definitely our most enthusiastic volunteer!

👟 THE NUMBERS 👟
We saw 59 of you cross the finish line today, supported by 12 wonderful human volunteers in hi-vis (plus our furry mascot).

🌟 NEW FACES ON THE COURSE 🌟
A huge Riverbank welcome to our 10 first timers! We loved having Barney, Mitch, Chris, Tony, David, Ashlee, Kathryn, Karl, Matthew, and Simone join us. We hope you loved our foggy course and that we see you again soon.

⚡ SMASHING GOALS ⚡
The cool mist must have provided the perfect running conditions because 12 of you scored a brand new Personal Best! Huge congratulations to Daniel, Sam, Elijah, Josh, Gracie, Dominic, Chloe, Breanna, Nikki, Kiarni, Danial, and Jeff. Fantastic effort everyone!

👀 MILESTONE WATCH 👀
We noticed a couple of you are hovering right on the edge of a new milestone t-shirt! Toni and Brad both completed their 49th runs today. We cannot wait to cheer you on for your 50th very soon!

🧡 OUR HI-VIS HEROES 🧡
Our event simply doesn't happen without our volunteers. Huge thanks to Daniel, Sally, Bill, David, Mark, Annette, Heather, Truong, Terri, Lauren, James, and Lea for giving up your morning to make sure we all had a safe and fun event.

📣 Volunteers Needed – Saturday, 13th June 2026

We're looking for volunteers to help out at Riverbank parkrun this Saturday and in the coming weeks.

For this week we need:
🔹 Marshal x2
🔹 Barcode scanner
🔹 Finish tokens

We’d also like to have:
🔹 Photographer
🔹 Parkwalker

If you can spare an hour and want to help keep parkrun running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!
