We loved welcoming Beth Stewart, a local Newcastle University student studying Media and Communications, to Because We Care Boutique! 🌸

As part of her uni project, Beth interviewed our wonderful volunteer Margaret and captured what makes the Boutique such a special place for connection, community and support.

Congratulations to Paula Hardwick from Because We Care Boutique, who was nominated for Adult Volunteer of the Year in recognition of her work across multiple organisations, and Frockin’ The Outback, represented by Paula Hardwick and Elisha Winship, nominated for a team award at last night’s NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards.

It’s wonderful to see our Iris Foundation volunteers recognised for the incredible work they do in our community. Congratulations to all! 🌟
