Our Vision:

To provide a safe space for our community and empower our community to thrive

I acknowledge the Darkinjung people who are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work and live. The Board and staff of Berkeley Vale Neighbourhood Centre Inc pay our respects to Elders, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the land. A better understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures develop an enriched appreciation of Australia's cultural heritage and can lead to reconciliation. This is essential to the maturity of Australia as a nation and fundamental to the development of a shared sense of Australian unity and identity. Our Goal is:

To provide inclusive and quality services to our community and ensure that we:

* Listen to people and allow them time to open up
* Recognise the individual
* Recognise that people and families need time to act and
* Give community members skills for independence

Our Values are:
* Community focus
* Confidentiality
* Empowerment
* Inclusion
* Respect
* Trust
