For those community members planning on attending tomorrows (19/7) AGM please be aware that the annual Jetty2Jetty is also on. This will see a significant impact to access and parking.

Please give yourselves plenty of time before the meeting start time of 9:30.

⚠️ Important road closure information

For the safety of our runners, and to respect local businesses and surrounding residents, the following road closures and restricted parking regualtions will be in place from 4am to 11am on race day - Sunday 19 July 2026.

🛣️ Road Closures
▪️ Hornibrook Esplanade – Full closure on the Westbound lane from Oxley Avenue to the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) at Pelican Park. The Eastbound Lane will remain open, with detours in place
▪️ Hornibrook Esplanade – Full closure in both directions from Victoria Avenue to Oxley Avenue
▪️ Oxley Avenue (between Alfred Street and Woody Point Jetty)
▪️ Woodcliffe Crescent (whole road both ways)
▪️ Lilla St (east of the Kate St roundabout)
▪️ Gayundah Esplanade (whole road both ways)
▪️ Whytcliffe Parade (whole road both ways)
▪️ Margate Parade (whole road both ways)
▪️ Landsborough Ave (both ways between Bunton St & Fortune St)

🅿️ Parking Restrictions
▪️ Thomas Street (No Stopping - western side from Hornibrook Espl to Gerald Ave)
▪️ Belvedere Street (No Stopping - northern side from Thomas St to Elizabeth Ave)
▪️ Yacht Street (No Stopping - western side from Hornibrook Espl to Gerald Ave)
▪️ Young & Lane Streets (No Stopping – Eastern to Western sides from Hornibrook Espl to Robert St)
▪️ Roland Street (No Stopping – northern side from Elizabeth Ave to Hornibrook Espl)

The QCWA Redcliffe Peninsula Branch is seeking a current QCWA member to take on the role of Hall Convenor for our Redcliffe and Clontarf halls.

The role involves managing regular and one-off bookings, coordinating hall access, and ensuring scheduled maintenance is completed by the appointed service providers.

Support is available from both the Redcliffe Peninsula Branch Committee and the Greater Brisbane Division Committee.

Once established, the role is expected to require no more than approximately two hours per week.
