QCWA Redcliffe Peninsula Branch Giving a space to QLD women to connect, collaborate and create an impact in their community

04/05/2026

There’s something really special about a community that shows up for each other 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the QCWA Market — whether you donated, shopped, or simply stopped by for a chat. Your generosity and support truly made the day something special.

Every item purchased, every dollar given, and every kind gesture will go towards supporting CADA, a local charity doing incredible work for our community. It’s a reminder that even small acts can come together to make a big difference.

We’re so grateful to be part of such a caring and generous community — thank you for helping us turn a simple market day into something meaningful ✨

We’re bringing the Redcliffe Peninsula QCWA back to life and we need your help.

For our Market Day on May 3, we’ll be making homemade jams, preserves and relishes to raise funds for CADA (Centre Against Domestic Abuse), and we’re looking for fresh produce donations.

If you have fruit trees or a veggie patch that’s producing more than you can use, we would be so grateful for your support.

We’re especially looking for lemons, rosellas, tomatoes, chillies and stone fruit, but all donations are warmly welcomed.

Every jar we make helps support an important local cause.

A shout-out for the QCWA Clermont Branch! Located way past Emerald, they are in need of donations to help purchase fencing materials for their surrounding district. The entire area has lost kilometres of fencing due to extensive flooding, which is taking a toll on the whole community.

The QCWA Clermont has been open every day, providing food packages and offering a cup of tea and a chat to those in need. If you have any connections in the area or are willing to lend a hand, please get in touch with the branch directly.

🌼 Exciting News for Our Community 🌼

We’re delighted to announce that QCWA Clontarf is now QCWA Redcliffe Peninsula.

Our new name reflects the wonderful community we serve across the entire Peninsula and our commitment to being a welcoming, active and inclusive branch for local women and families.

Nothing else is changing. Same friendly faces. Same community spirit. Same dedication to supporting and empowering women. Just a name that better represents who we are and the community we’re proud to be part of.

We look forward to continuing our work across the Redcliffe Peninsula and welcoming new members, volunteers and friends.

💙 If you’d like to get involved or learn more, we’d love to hear from you.

🌼 A Fresh Start for QCWA Redcliffe Peninsula 🌼

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Sunday for our special meeting and morning tea. It was a wonderful morning of connection, conversation and planning for the year ahead.

We’re excited to share that our branch has now officially appointed our new committee to lead QCWA Redcliffe Peninsula into its next chapter. We’re grateful to each member who has stepped forward to serve our community, and we look forward to the year of activities, service and friendship ahead.

A special thank you to Kerri-Anne Dooley for attending and showing her support for our branch and the work we do in the community.

It was a lovely morning and such a positive way to begin this new chapter under our new name.
