Living Connected

Living Connected Living Connected supports seniors with using IT to remain engaged, active, and independent. Arrangements are flexible and can fit with availability.

Living Connected promotes the wellbeing of older citizens in the Illawarra by providing assistance in using digital devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers to keep seniors engaged, active and independent within their communities. We operate weekly or monthly drop-in help sessions from Bulli to Bega to Bundanoon. Our tailored program trains older people in building digital skills to stay

connected as they age. The program guides and supports seniors in using digital technologies to make their lives more enriching and enjoyable. Please get in touch with us if you or an older person you know is interested in receiving training in digital technologies. We are a volunteer-driven organization, and welcome new volunteers at any time. All volunteers receive training and are fully supported throughout their time with us. For more information, please contact us by email or visit our website.

Living Connected recently featured in a Good Weekend story by Stephanie Wood about the frustrations, challenges and disadvantages older Australians experience in the digital age. A big thank you to those Living Connected clients who agreed to speak with Stephanie, and thanks to Stephanie for shining a light on this issue.
