Meet the beautiful Marley, an exceptionally beautiful female dog, a delightful mix of Labrador /German Shorthair Pointer, boasting a striking chocolate coat that catches the eye. She is an extraordinary girl with immense potential, full of energy and charm, and she is sure to capture the hearts of everyone she meets.
Our stunning young girl weighs in at just 22 kilos and is a medium size girl who is full of love. Joy and affection.
Marley is an incredibly responsive girl to professional training sessions and really excels in having an experienced handler guiding her though each session. She has a wonderful focus on her handler and is extremely eager to please. I can definitely see her excelling in many disciplines as she has wonderful potential.
When it comes to her favorite activities, Marley has a few that she truly enjoys. She loves nothing more than basking in the warm sunlight, soaking up the rays as she relaxes. Running through long grass is another of her cherished pastimes, where she can stretch her legs and feel the wind in her fur. Pleasing her human companions is something she takes great pride in, always eager to make them happy. Marley also enjoys sleeping in, relishing those lazy mornings when she can snooze a little longer. However, she has a mischievous side too, as she finds great joy in destroying soft toys,as part of her playful nature.
In terms of her interactions with humans, Marley is incredibly affectionate. She adores cuddling and will often climb onto your lap, seeking closeness and warmth. Initially, when meeting new people, she can be quite exuberant, sometimes getting a bit too excited and jumping up. However, she is learning to curb this enthusiasm and is making progress in greeting people more calmly.
When it comes to other dogs, Marley has been tested with a variety of dogs and is always eager to meet and play with them. She is generally well-mannered during introductions and shows a genuine interest in engaging in playful activities. She is still learning to read social cues. She does love a good game of chase and can you catch me teg games.
In terms of obedience and training, Marley is exceptionally intelligent and highly motivated by food rewards. She has an excellent recall in environments with minimal distractions and is a quick learner, always eager to please her human companions. Marley being a young girl can get up to a bit of mischief stealing socks, and at times chewing things she shouldn’t so she is never left inside un-supervi.
As for her dietary preferences, Marley has a hearty appetite and loves food. She has been known to help herself to any unattended food left on the kitchen counter. While she primarily eats premium dry food, she seems to have a fondness for a wide variety of treats.
Regarding car travel, Marley was initially hesitant to get into the car. However, with a little reassurance and the promise of treats, she has become more confident. She may pant a bit, indicating some stress, but with continued exposure and positive experiences, she is likely to become more comfortable over time.
In terms of independence, Marley can be a bit clingy, often seeking the company of her human friends. However, she also appreciates having her own space and will occasionally retreat to another room when she desires some alone time.
Marley is able to be left at home without issues and is a fairly quiet girl.
Marley is fully toilet trained. Marley sleeps through the night in her dog bed. Her coat is clean and silky, adding to her overall appeal. She has a low maintenance coat
Exercise is essential for Marley, and she requires at least an hour of vigorous activity each day. She thrives on challenging exercise, such as running up hills or through long grass, and can become restless if her exercise needs are not met.
The perfect home for Marley would be one with a larger-than-average yard, providing her with ample space to roam and explore. She would benefit from a cozy spot to sleep at night and would appreciate a family that can give her plenty of attention when she seeks it, while also respecting her need for solitude when she indicates it by leaving the room.
Marley would be suited to a home either with another male dog or own her own.
Ideally, a home with a large secure yard , a walking track, or an off-leash trail would be perfect for her adventurous spirit.
