Eden Ark Private Rescue & Rehome aims to save many animals from rural pounds across Australia as well as private surrendered animals. We strive to find the perfect homes for all of our animals. All of our animals available for adoption are *desexed
*vaccinated
*microchipped
*wormed and
*flead

Adoption fees vary on vet work, special requirements, transport costs and donations. None of our ado

RIGHT PLACE - RIGHT TIME

Margot the 15 month old Labrador was surrendered a month or so ago when her family had to make a move overseas.

Exhausting all avenues to take them with her, it was decided it was in her best interest to stay here in Melbourne. The risk of euthanasia due to her idiopathic epilepsy in quarantine, was not a risk anyone wanted to take.

A play at the park with her friends turned into meeting her new family.

She is currently on trial in her new home and her new family have welcomed her with open arms epilepsy, twice daily medication and all.

We love the people that take a chance on the dogs that are often overlooked due to medical needs.

Fingers crossed to a successful trial period and a happily ever after to this gorgeous girl.

She was truely a delight 💛

A sad but happy update 🥰

5 weeks ago some tiny starving, dehydrated and hyperglycaemic Afghan puppies arrived in care.
Sadly we had to make an incredibly hard decision to euthanise 3 of the pups within 72 hours of being in care.
Falling to thrive due to the pure neglect they received will never sit right with us, but we like to all think about the positives.

The positive is, we have one large, gangly and thriving baby Jane still with us.
5 weeks old and kicking all her milestone goals.
She is opinionated and sassy being a hand raised singleton but is absolute delight and we are so glad she is still with us.

A warm welcome to our tiny little 3 Afghan puppies
Currently 5 days old and after a rocky 3 days of severe malnutrition, dehydration and hyperthermia they seem to be heading in the right direction

Well it’s official our tiny little sass queen peach has found her forever home!

Take a look at some photos from her time in care 😍

She was a hard one to let go of but when I know she will have the most incredible home it makes it that much easier

From a tiny 100g who we never thought would make it, to a larger than life 1.8kg

She has a huge personality and has had some seriously hideous hair cuts (thanks Jess😅)

She is smart, fiercely loyal, opinionated, social, spicey and loving

& we wouldn’t have her any other way

Go do great things little lady it was truely our pleasure 🥰🥰
