Together, we are helping bring warmth, hope and support to local people in need. 💜

Yesterday (Saturday) we held our Winter Warmth Appeal at the Warragul Community Kiosk.

We are so pleased to have received some wonderful donations of warm jackets, clothes, blankets, towels, beanies and gloves, along with food and monetary donations which will all go such a long way to helping the homeless and all those in need in these cold winter months ahead.

Attached you will find a photo of a young man called Marshall, who very kindly spent money from his wages from his first ever job at Banjos Bakery at local stores on beautiful winter warmth items for those in need, we thank you Marshall, you have an amazing heart from such a young age♥️

We also had another young man called Corey from Moreland’s Meats come over to us with a meat tray to donate……..and then he told us his story of so many life challenges he’s had which blew us away……..Corey has agreed to share his story in the Warragul Gazette in the near future so please watch out for that soon, his story will inspire you and instills hope in us all.
We thank-you Corey for being so brave, courageous and wanting to give back to those who supported you, we are so proud of you mate!

We would also like to thank all those that donated either yesterday, previously and those who will in the future, without your continued generosity and passion to help your fellow human beings, we could never do what we do, so thank-you all from the bottom of our hearts. ♥️

Thanks also to our wonderful volunteers on the day: Rosalie, Gwen, Andrew and of course the incredible team at Lions Club Warragul who held the sausage sizzle throughout the day, you guys are absolutely awesome!
