Good evening everyone!

The committee has been approached by the organisers of the Phillip Island Classic 2026 - Historic race meet and car show. We have been approached to attend with discounted entry for our members and friends of the HGCOV. This event is Fri/Sat/Sun.
To give members the opportunity to see everything on offer on the island, the committee is considering renting a large house (sleeps 8-10 people) on the island for the Saturday night. So leaving the track 5 mins later your parked up for the evening. All within an easy walk to the Cowes city centre for dinner and drinks.
If we consider the Friday night as well, the massive car show in the Main Street of cowes!!

Track activities begin at 9am on Saturday morning with every category qualifying and races in the afternoon.
100’s and 100’s of cars on static display.
And maybe even the opportunity to cruise the circuit first thing in the morning! (subject to time restrictions).

We are looking for member feedback to see if all this is viable. If your a yes! Or a no, we NEED to know. We actually want your feedback on this!

As a club member, or even if you’re not, don’t be shy and speak your piece on this.
Note: there is an entry cost to the event for every person. There is a cost for the accomodation for every person too!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Your committee has just had the first meeting for 2026. Some new faces in the committee space and a lot of energy, which is very exciting!
Feeding off a fantastic end to 2025 with Gemboree #4, the events crew has almost created the events (including a sneaky marquee event in March), for the first 6 months of the year!
And dates for the AGM have been finalised in July!
Keep an eye out over the coming days for some updates!!

So, get polishing! Or pull your finger out and get it back together!
It's going to be an exciting 2026!!!!!

Friday 7th March - 6.30PM
Dinner/meet up at North Haven Marina

Saturday 8th March
10AM - Meet at Smart Tech Electrical.
U 3 2 Belfree Drive, Green Felds, 5107.
12.30PM - Depart on Cruise.
6.30PM - Dinner at Windsor Gardens Hotel

Sunday 9th March
7 30AM - Meet HJ's Ridgehaven - N.E Rd.
8.15AM - SHARP - Depart for Birdwood
10:30 AM - Gemini's on Display @ Birdwood
