Rotary Club of Warragul Warragul Rotary is part of the worldwide network of Rotarians, all being people of action working for their respective communities.

Our Success Stories
Warragul Rotary Club raises around $50,000 each year, which we are proud to distribute to projects locally, for the district, nationally and internationally. Warragul Rotary Club:
• sponsors International student exchanges to and from Australia
• hosts an Annual Art Show in the Baw Baw Shire.
• grows and sells Christmas trees.
• refurbished Rotary Park at the corner of Latrobe

and Queen Streets in 2013/14
• supplied and erected the gates to Logan Park.
• built the Warragul Guide Hall at Brogie Park.
• provided a bus for the Pindari Vision Australia centre.
• fund raised for and built the Helipad at West
Gippsland Hospital
• extended the kitchen for Warragul Scout Hall
• built the day centre for Scope.
• funded and worked on Aid projects in Indonesia,Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe with clean water and school repairs.
• provided immediate shelter for 100 people via Rotary with shelter boxes after the Boxing Day tsunami.

At last night’s meeting Dr Surinjaya Dharmadasa spoke to our club about prostate cancer. His 30 minute talk was excellent both informative and entertaining. 1/5 men will have prostate problems so talk to your doctor and get checked.

Warragul Rotary need’s your help to support local high school students and we need your old or new Lego.
We are gathering donations to support the Warragul Regional College Chaplaincy Support Group. The Wellbeing Team use the Lego for Pastoral Care

The final act at the Warragul Rotary Indigenous Park was the unveiling of the 8 signs explaining the story of the local indigenous culture (the Kurnai culture) the signs were produced by locals Simon and Jo Griffin ( home grown designs).
