Foundation meeting 7th July 1966 and Chartered on 22nd October 1966

Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. We are young people, families and baby-boomers alike. To become a Lion is to become an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in your community and a friend to people in need. To become a Lion, you must be of legal majority, good moral character and good reput

ation in your community. Membership is by invitation, so contact us today or come to one of our meetings to see if Lions Club is a good fit for you. We meet at Warragul Country Club
on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm for 7:00pm start.

Our sincere appreciation goes out to the Lions Club of Warragul for their donation to Lifeline Gippsland. Your generosity and support help us to provide essential crisis support to those in need across our community. With your help we can continue to ensure no one has to face their toughest moments alone.
Thank you! šŸ’™ Lions Club of Warragul

Great to have Mark from Baw Baw Food Relief at our meeting last night. Mark gave us a brief rundown of the great work this group is doing in our community. The need for their services in our region has never been so great and some of the numbers he gave us were truly astounding.
Their Winter Relief appeal will be kicking off this Saturday at the Lions Kiosk in Palmerston St and our Club will be running a sausage sizzle to help.

Last week, a much‑anticipated delivery arrived for our surgical and paediatric wards.
Thanks to the generous support of the Warragul Lions Club and the Australian Lions Foundation, we’ve welcomed 8 new vital signs machines.
This essential equipment helps our teams closely monitor patients’ heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels and temperature following surgery.

We're thankful to the Warragul Lions Club for their continued support. šŸ™Œ

Have a look at these cool bits of equipment. Our Club is so proud to be able to provide these for the West Gippsland Healthcare Group. We hear that they were being put to use practically as soon as they got through the door.

We had a great day last week at St Angela of the Cross Primary School where we took part in Lions Eye Health Vision Screening. We tested around 130 delightful kids on the day and discovered several needing further investigation. Many thanks to the teachers and staff for giving us the opportunity to conduct these vital tests.

We had the pleasure of meeting Archie when he visited our District 201 V3 Convention at Warragul last year.

We’re excited to share that ā€˜Archie’ has officially passed his Task Assessment and Public Access Test, making him a fully accredited Diabetic Alert Dog! šŸŽ‰

Archie will now be by his recipient’s side both at home and in public — alerting them to changes in their blood glucose levels as well as alerting to a few household sounds. What a clever boy! 🧔

A big thank you to the Lions Club of Paralowie Inc , who supported Archie’s follow-up training. Their commitment has been instrumental in supporting this partnership to grow in confidence and teamwork. 🐾

From his puppy program beginnings through to this special milestone, Archie’s journey has been supported by many caring hands. Now fully accredited, he steps confidently into his new role - offering safety, companionship and independence to his recipient. 🄰

Well done to all involved šŸ‘
