🏓 What a day on the courts!

54 players, 3 dedicated referees, and plenty of spectators helped make our first ever PCYC Wagga Pickleball Tournament 2026 a fantastic success.

From first-time competitors to seasoned players, the day was filled with great rallies, sportsmanship, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. A huge thank you to everyone who played, refereed, supported, and cheered from the sidelines.

Congratulations to all of our medal winners and thank you for helping create such an incredible atmosphere throughout the tournament. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

💙 Meet the Team 💙

If you’ve spent any time around PCYC Wagga Wagga, chances are you’ve met Sadie! Always bringing a positive attitude, plenty of energy and a friendly smile, she’s become a familiar face around the centre over the past few years.

Whether she’s helping out with Gymnastics, jumping in the School Holiday Program or putting hands all over our glass doors, Sadie is always happy to lend a hand and make everyone feel welcome.

We’re lucky to have her as part of the team and know she’ll continue to do amazing things in the future. Be sure to say hello next time you see her around the centre! 👋

We would like to keep you informed of some recent staffing updates within our service and warmly welcome several team members who have recently joined us.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining consistent support for all children, there have been some changes to our staffing team. These updates are part of our regular service operations and help ensure we continue to meet the needs of our children, families, and community.

Each team member brings valuable experience, skills, and enthusiasm, and we are excited to have them join our team.

👑 KING'S BIRTHDAY LONG WEEKEND TRADING HOURS 👑

Our opening hours for the King's Birthday long weekend are:

📅 Saturday 6 June: 7:00am – 4:00pm
📅 Sunday 7 June: 8:00am – 2:00pm
📅 Monday 8 June: 8:00am – 2:00pm

🏓 Due to a Pickleball Tournament being held at the centre, court availability will be limited across the weekend and courts will be closed for most of the tournament. We encourage members to call ahead before visiting to check court availability.

Good luck to all competitors taking part, and we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable long weekend! 💙
