The Lions Club of Victor Harbor and Port Elliot wish to thank the community and surrounding area for your generous support with the Food Collection, for the Salvation Army, that will provide for families and homeless people in need.
There was a total of 2.5 trollies filling 29 bags along with packs of toilet rolls a number of large boxes of cereal. Again thank you.

C'mon down to Victor Central outside Woolworths
The Lions Club of Victor Harbor and Port Elliot have a food collection today, Thursday 11 June. The collection is to answer the call from the local Salvation Army to help local families and homeless with food parcels. We are asking for canned and non-perishable items

In response to a call from the Victor Harbor Salvation Army, we will be having a food collection on Thursday 11 June between 10am & 5.00pm at Victor Central.
We are asking shoppers to donate any canned or nonperishable food Item into the shopping trolley.
Items are to be donated to the Salvation Army for distribution to those in need & homeless. Demand has increased and the pantry is low please come shopping on Thursday and help our most vulnerable members of our community.

The Lions Club of Victor Harbor & Port Elliot were invited to breakfast cater for the Early Ford V8 Club at Kent Reserve Victor Harbor on Monday 4 May. The Lions were on the job and set up around 7.30 am and fed around 70 people with a breakfast of bacon and egg rolls, tea, coffee and juice.
There was a little intermittent rain but that didn’t deter the Lions or the car club members. There were no complaints from anyone and they were all very happy and appreciative of the freshly cooked breakfast.
The Lions happily were all packed up by 10.00am, it was a lovely way to start the week.

Lest we forget.

As the sun rises this Anzac Day, we pause to remember the incredible courage and selflessness of those who served. We honor the spirit of the Anzacs—a legacy of bravery, sacrifice, and deep mateship that continues to inspire us today.

Today, we stand in silence to say thank you for the peace we enjoy and the freedoms we hold dear.
