Thanks for continuing to attend guides even in these colder winter months! Hot milk or hot chocolate has been popular the last few weeks ☕ We have two weeks to go with cooking this week and then end of term party activities. We will be continuing to ask guides their ideas for next term and beyond and it's amazing to see our young leaders helping younger guides.

Homemade Cards for Seniors Australia are seeking support in the form of handcrafted cards to spread smiles to seniors. Cards can be made in any shape, size, or style and should be centred around four themes that we collect at specific times of the year:

- Birthday (mid-August)

- Christmas (mid-November)

- Easter (mid-March)

- Thinking of You (mid-May)

Each card should include a sentiment inside, which can be handwritten or stamped, and should be signed by the card maker. The cards are then donated to seniors through Meals on Wheels, at-home service providers, or aged care facilities to bring smiles to their faces.

🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️🧘 It is International Day of Yoga on Sun 21st June we are going to attempt some yoga this week 🧘🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ We may be attempting inside with the weather and perhaps in small groups as well. (Otherwise it might be attempting swimming outside with this weather 🤣🏊) Guides are welcome to bring a mat or towel for yoga.
We will also continue our brainstorming for end of term and next terms ideas and have some notes about upcoming fundraising.

Lovely night to start with some outdoor games 😄 We also did beading, impromptu science experiments in the kitchen and started some work on deciding our Patrols and creating new signs for the notice boards. And our guides favourite game is London Bridge at the moment! Thank you guides for my birthday card...now to figure out which secret squirrel let them know 🐿️😄

Thanks for bringing board games tonight 🎲🃏 It was definitely the night for staying in and enjoying games and warm drinks ☕ Our tents are finally dry and put away 🙏 it has been a busy few guiding weekends and we hope everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable long weekend. There's lots happening in our area in June and July so if you attend anything feel free to share next time at guides.

Victor Harbor is a thriving hub of activity, connecting the surrounding local towns with a rich range of cultural events throughout the year.

Last night we also provided a thank you to our adult volunteers with the recent National Volunteers Week. Thanks for being part of our Guiding village.
