Rotary Club Hervey Bay City The RCHB City meets every 2nd, 3rd & 4th Wednesday of the month from 6pm for a 6.30pm start at the Kondari Hotel (Pandanus Room), 49 Elizabeth Street, Urangan

We meet every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. If you wish to attend a meeting, please send a message or email the Secretary. The 1st Wednesday of each month is a social night. The original Rotary Club was Chartered in 1955 with sponsor Club Maryborough, and on 16th August 1984 the City Club was Chartered. Rotary will be celebrating their 70th Birthday this year (2025)

On Saturday Dennis Cool from Rotary Club Hervey Bay City, James Hyne & Lloyd Madden from the Rotary Club of Maryborough City and Anthony Larsen, a RYDA volunteer manned the RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) stall at the Community Bank Hervey Bay (Bendigo Bank Hervey Bay) 20th Anniversary Community Showcase at the Seafront Oval at Pialba.

We were able to spread the word about RYDA, which is happening in August.

The day's highlight was the announcing of over $200,000 in grants, sponsorship etc. by the Bank to Community groups/organisations.

The Bank has very generously agreed to sponsor RYDA this year to the tune of $10,000.

Meet your food vendors!

You can't have a community event without a sausage sizzle, and the Rotary Club of Hervey Bay City is there to make sure that tradition holds.

Sausage sandwiches and cold drinks, with proceeds going back into community projects across the region.

The Rotary Hervey Bay Z Bus is one of Hervey Bay's most remarkable community initiatives: a converted bus that provides safe overnight accommodation for people experiencing homelessness, run entirely by local volunteers.

Come and take a tour of the bus, see the sleep pods, find out how the service works, and pick up some free goodies. And if you've ever thought about volunteering or supporting the ZBus, the team will be there to chat.

Find them in Zone E: Emergency Services on the day.
