The UTS Law Students' Society (UTS LSS) is a student run organisation!

So you’ve thought about joining the UTS Law Student Society but have been waiting for the opportunity? Well the wait is finally over.

Nominations for ALL director and representative roles for 2026/27 are OFFICIALLY OPEN NOW!

With our new President and Executive Team officially elected, it is now time for all current UTS Law students to apply to join the UTS LSS Council for 2027! Positions are available in ALL portfolios. So if your interests lie from organising competitions, throwing parties, giving your learned colleagues the best educational and career opportunities, embracing a passion for social justice or designing graphics for all of the above, then look no further.

Applicants may apply for a maximum of two positions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of one of the biggest student-run organisations at UTS. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to embrace building a network with likeminded individuals alongside core university memories . After completing your tenure as a Councillor, you will be eligible to claim up to 75% of your LTS hours for the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program.

Voting for the UTS LSS Executive Elections is NOW OPEN!

For your chance to have a say in who leads the society in 2026/27 log in and vote now! Voting must close at 6pm on Friday, 16 October 2026.

The election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting. All members of the Society are invited to attend. Please visit our website to register your attendance and view the Agenda.

The UTS Brennan Justice and Leadership Program and UTS LSS Jesuit Refugee Service Australia Food Drive will close TOMORROW!

📦Please place all donations in the ‘donations boxes’ outside the LSS Office on Level 14, Building 2 by 5PM ON Wednesday, 14 OCTOBER 2026.

Please donate items based on this list: https://bit.ly/JRS26.

⭐Any student who donates an item can receive 2 LTS HOURS by submitting a selfie with their donated item. Additionally, students can submit an ‘ad-hoc’ reflection on the impact of their donation and/or on the general theme of refugee and asylum seekers for an additional 5 ROJ POINTS.
