Victory House is a residential rehabilitation program located in Tweed Heads, Gold Coast, Australia, and Whangarei New Zealand. Victory House is operated as an initiative of Vibe Care and exists to give people a second chance at life. Program addresses specific needs for recovery by working with participants in group sessions and on a case by case basis for individual needs. We provide practical teaching on issues such as: communication skills, identity and self- worth, conflict resolution, life skills, literacy & numeracy, work place conduct, moral ethics, discipline and the importance of setting clear boundaries for respect of self and others. Our program is developed wholly around client needs, operating through a therapeutic community model, free from drugs and alcohol. We believe recovery is a process that we walk through with our residents in a safe, structured and supportive environment endorsing abstinence. We follow a holistic model that addresses physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. At Victory House, Tweed Heads, and Whangarei residents are highly involved in working with each other and keeping accountability amongst their peers by taking responsibility for developing their own progress. Our staff and support team including referral to professional services works to assist our residents as they address issues that may have led to or contributed to their addiction. We also work through the process of helping residents discover how and why their lives have become unmanageable, and how to manage these issues in the future.
