💧 This week we welcomed Gippsland Water to the House!

They joined us to share some practical tips on how we can save water at home, understand our water use and make small changes that can help reduce our bills.

It was a great opportunity for our community to ask questions, learn a little more about where our water goes, and pick up some simple ideas we can put into practice at home.

A big thank you to the team for coming along and sharing their knowledge with us.

🐔 Help us grow our flock of Emotional Support Chickens! 🧶💛

Volunteer Jan introduced us to these wonderfully whimsical creations — and we’ve discovered there’s something about a soft, colourful chook that simply makes people smile. (Her latest creations are a gift for her friends)

These are the perfect stash-buster! Some of our favourites are the mismatched, patchwork-style chickens made from leftover yarn.

🚑 This Thursday – CPR & First Aid Training in Traralgon!

Don’t miss the opportunity to update your CPR and First Aid training with 3 Rivers Training

Steph is an engaging, practical and highly skilled trainer, and we can genuinely speak to the value of this training.

The very next day after our staff completed training with Steph, we experienced a medical emergency at our House.

Having those skills and knowledge fresh in our minds meant that when we were faced with a real crisis, we felt confident in our response and knew what to do.

First Aid training is something you hope you won’t need — but when you do, being prepared really matters.
