A community orchestra located in Traralgon playing timeless classics. Formed in 1961, the Latrobe Orchestra Inc.

has a long and proud tradition of being Gippsland's local community orchestra. Orchestral instrument musicians of all ages and abilities are welcomed and supported to make music in this group. We rehearse on Thursday evenings during the school terms at the Kath Teychenne Centre, Breed St Traralgon, starting at 7pm and finishing 9pm during school term. Our Beginner String Program caters for communi

ty members new to playing an orchestral string instrument. Group lessons are held on Thursdays, and instruments are available to hire. We are always looking for musicians to join us , so if you are interested in joining or want more information send us a message via Facebook or email ([email protected]).
