Our Lions Club recently donated six $30 Event Cinemas movie vouchers for Deaf Connect clients to enjoy subtitled movie sessions. 🎬🍿

We’re so pleased to support an organisation doing such important work for the Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing community.

90 YEARS YOUNG!

Over the weekend, our President, Aussie celebrated his 90th birthday. Tonight, we celebrated him!

Aussie is someone who truly embodies what Lions is all about. He has dedicated so much of his life to serving others, giving his time generously and always being there to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

We are incredibly lucky to have his leadership, friendship and many years of experience within our club - and even luckier to call him one of our own.

Happy 90th Birthday, Aussie! Thank you for everything you have done, and continue to do, for our club and our community. ❤️

During August, our club is collecting personal care items for the Townsville Women’s Shelter. Public donations of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary items or nappies can be dropped at Brewer Pharmacy,Annandale Central. Women and children escaping domestic violence will be grateful for these items.
