🎭 Play Reading Tomorrow Night!! ⭐ Looking for an evening of fun, laughter and a bit of theatrical inspiration? Townsville Little Theatre is doing something a little different at our play-reading tomorrow night, with two short plays for your enjoyment! 👏
💚 Our first comedy, "Women are from Mars" was written by award-winning playwright Catherine McKernan Doris, and was previously presented at the Festival of One-Act Plays here in Townsville. With a cast of eight, there will be plenty of opportunities for members to get involved in the reading!
❤️ Our second comedy, “All Strings Attached” written by Jess Bradford and Helen Bradford, has enjoyed success at several festivals this year, taking home Best Play at both the Beenleigh and Nanango Festivals, as well as Best Comedy at Ipswich. 🏆
We’re presenting these plays with a bigger idea in mind: to gauge interest in bringing a Short Play Festival back to Townsville. Your attendance and support will help us explore the possibility of making this happen! 🤩 So come along, enjoy some great local theatre, share a few laughs and help us discover whether Townsville is ready for a short play festival once again.
⭐ When: 27 October at 7.00 pm
⭐ Where: Townsville Little Theatre Headquarters (TLTHQ) 237 Sturt Street
