The Kindness Catalyst is the heart behind Townsville’s Community Food Pantry Drive, making it easy for locals to contribute through her 5 items for $11 initiative a simple, affordable way for anyone to help fill pantry shelves for families who need it. She also runs the Townsville Food Directory- a list of all community organisations that accept donated food at www.thekindnesscatalyst.com.au

This post won’t capture everything she does because she does so much. But in the short time since moving to Townsville, I’ve already seen the beauty she brings to this city. The care boxes, the community pantries, the kindness events… all created with love, purpose, and a genuine desire to make life brighter for others.

☕💗 We are so grateful to have Missy Moos Coffee as part of our giveaway donating a handful of coffee vouchers to brighten someone’s day, just like she does for Townsville every single morning.

Missy Moos Coffee isn’t just a café.

And at the centre of it all is Nicki a breast cancer survivor with one of the most inspiring stories you’ll ever hear. We don't always post these food drops but we are very proud to be doing THREE this week. Danya's Designs dropped some at the Aitkenvale Library before running a workshop there on Monday, and we'll be dropping some to Missy Moos Coffee this Friday when we run the Care for Carers Event 😁😁😁

Behind the scenes...most weeks we drop off food at local Community Food Pantries (like this one located at Townsville Citylibraries Riverway) thanks to the generousity of Townsville residents and businesses who donated OVER 1000 food items earlier this year!!! 🥰

Our beautiful Kind Cafe is running a morning tea for breast cancer...
10 am till 12 pm, at Missy Moos, snacks available for gold coin donations. There will be things for sale. It will be a fantastic morning 😊 🩷 ☕
This one is very personal for Nicki and for many women...it would be great to have lots of support 🩷🩷🩷
