Unfortunately the grounds have become overgrown due to the rain we have received of late.

Tomorrow we will be holding a working bee from 7am-12noon. Main jobs will include mowing & whipper snipping. The club has a Ride-On, push mower and I have a whipper snipper. We ask if any members are able to bring a whipper snipper that would be much appreciated (Fuel and Line provided by the club).

The track surface has held up well, so no major attention is required. We do have other odd jobs needing completed also

-Hose pit shed out
-Clean canteen
-Clean amenities
-Fit taps fittings and hoses.

TMORC will provide a BBQ and cold drinks to anyone that attends the working 🐝 followed by FREE practice from 12 till late. We do like to give back to our members that help, so please don’t take advantage of this kind gesture and think turning up at 11:45 will entitle you to an afternoon of Free practice.

If your available to help that would be very appreciated, as many hands do make things easier.

We will be open for practice from 12 noon today till late.

With 2023 season now coming to a close, we have 2024 Townsville Model Off Road Car Club membership forms in the canteen. If you’d completed a membership form after October 1st 2023, you are already a 2024 member.

We encourage early memberships as it helps the club with paying insurances and maintenance cost at the start of the new race season.

Russell is currently working on the 2024 calendar, he’s hoping to have it released.

With some early morning showers this morning, we had a delayed start to practice today. It was great to see everyone keen enough to hand around.

We also had some new faces attend today, I hope youse enjoyed yourself, and we see you all again.

I’m away next weekend, but I’m organising someone to open for practice on Sunday for all interested. Keep a eye out for opening times.
