This weekend, Tarmaroo campgrounds transformed into a global command center as the group tuned in and logged on for JOTA-JOTI (Jamboree of the Air and Internet). Swapping local campfires for worldwide connections, they linked up with Scouts from every corner of the planet. Along the way, they cracked new communication methods, tackled sustainability, and forged international friendships that span the airwaves and the web.

When your map says “turn left” but the Joeys take it a little too literally! 😂

The Joeys had a quick pit stop during their night walk, taking the opportunity for a bit of a spin before getting back to the serious business of navigating their way home! 🗺️🔦

They took turns leading the group, using landmarks to find their way along the route. Thankfully, everyone eventually stopped spinning long enough to figure out which way was home!

What a fantastic weekend at Region Scout Camp! Everyone had an absolute blast, with plenty of challenges, adventures, laughs and new experiences.

Our older Scouts and Venturers took on a rope and obstacle course, putting their skills, courage and teamwork to the test!

Meanwhile, our younger Cubs and Joeys went on a time-travelling adventure through the decades, visiting stations set up at each Group's campsite from the 1930s through to the 2000s.

Our Group travelled back to the 1950s, exploring the beginning of the Space Race 🚀 and the introduction of colour television 📺. We were also thrilled to receive a Special Commendation for our Rocket Ship-themed gate!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make such a memorable weekend possible. Now, enjoy the photo dump! 📸❤️
