In 2026, Scouts Australia celebrates 80 years of Venturer Scouts in Australia. Florence Bay Rovers recently had the pleasure of attending Bivouac Junction with Kennedy Region Scouts Venturer Scouts and joined in the “80 Years of Venturers” celebrations by helping with some activities and DJing for the 80s disco! 🪩🕺
These Venturers will eventually become our Rovers, and it was a great weekend of fun for all of us! 🥳

The people who celebrate your wins, sit with you in the mud (literally and metaphorically!), help carry you through the hard days, and leave every chapter of your life a little brighter, are often the ones worth holding onto. ♾️❤️

Our Unit Leader, Madi, flew down to Brisbane over the weekend to represent Kennedy Region in QBRC’s Conference! ✈️

It was a fantastic weekend of learning, planning, and opportunities, and we can’t wait to hear all the wonderful things that QBRC has in store for us!

A huge congratulations to our very own Chloe Reid, for achieving her Baden-Powell Scout Award in June 2026!

Chloe has now been in the Scouting movement for 20 years, and has achieved 4 out of 5 peak awards across Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and now Rovers! 🔥 Chloe has also broken the streak and achieved Kennedy Region’s first BPSA in over 8 years!!

Join us in celebrating this massive achievement!
